Forklift Simulator Controls

Replica controls for the forklift simulator feature industrial strength components suitable for both table-top mounting and the new operator chair. If you have already purchased simulators from VISTA Training, you may be able to re-use the replica forklift controls you already own. To learn more, please contact VISTA.

Because typical forklifts are equipped with three or four levers, you will need to use three or four USB-ready forklift levers. (The fourth lever controls the separation of the forks so if you use three levers instead of four, the simulation software will change the separation of the forks for you). Unit pricing is USD$600 so three levers cost USD$1,800, and four levers cost USD$2,400.

To complete the replica controls for the forklift simulator, add the Logitech G27 Racing Wheel, which consists of a steering wheel, a three-pedal unit and a gear shifter with pushbuttons that can also be used with other simulators from purchased through VISTA. In most countries, the G27 is for sale in retail stores that sell computers or video games, but it may also be purchased from Logitech's on-line store (select the appropriate country, then the product, then "Buy Now"). VISTA Training can also provide you with a G27 unit at a cost of USD$600.

Table-top mounting

VISTA can provide table-top mounting brackets to bring the joysticks down from table-top height to the sides of an ordinary chair, to better mimic the positioning of real sit down forklift controls in the cabin of a lift truck. The image above shows a forklift control arrangement with four forklift levers and their brackets. The cost of table-top mounting brackets is US$450 a pair.

Operator chair

For a superior simulation experience, we are pleased to offer an Operator Chair with industrial controls, a real operator seat, an integrated console for the left hand with a transmission control lever, and an integrated console for the right hand for the forklift levers. It is mounted on an industrial platform with casters, as shown here:
